Genuine natural cosmetics
All our formulas consist of pure, valuable herbal juices and oils, gentle hydrolates and rich extracts. We completely reject the use of chemical-synthetic aromatic substances, colorants and preservatives, mineral oils or parabens.
As a guarantee for this, all Santaverde cosmetic products bear the NATRUE quality seal for natural cosmetics (www.natrue.org). This internationally recognised label defines a very demanding quality standard for ingredients and production processes which all certified products need to comply with.
Against animal testing
With our company's view of ecology and ethics, the welfare of animals is close to our heart. Cosmetic products and raw materials tested on animals and their distribution have been banned by law within the EU - but this law does not apply outside the EU. We support the worldwide fight against animal testing. Therefore, all Santaverde cosmetic products carry the recognised Leaping Bunny seal of approval.
As a global programme, Leaping Bunny requires cruelty free standards over and above legal requirements. All of our own brand cosmetic products are approved under the Cruelty Free International Leaping Bunny programme, the internationally recognisable gold standard for cruelty free products. We adhere to a fixed cut-off date policy and proactively monitor our suppliers to ensure that our products continue to adhere to the Leaping Bunny criteria. Our supplier monitoring system is also independently audited. Vegan
All Santaverde products are 100 % vegan and certified by Vegan Society (www.vegansociety.com) zertifiziert. The seal confirms that none of our products contains ingredients derived from animals and that the entire production is free from raw materials of animal origin.
Controlled organic cultivation
The 100 % pure aloe vera juice aloepur and most of the raw materials used for our cosmetics bear the EU organic farming logo. It is based on the EU Eco-regulations no. 834/2007 and 889/2008. The EU organic farming logo is the standard symbol for organically grown produce across Europe and prevents the use of genetic engineering and mineral nitrogen fertilizer, promotes animal welfare, reduces energy consumption and preserves reserves of raw materials.
